Hello all, We are reassembling my Chambers 15BZ today and had the top all put together, and then couldn't remember where that pointy center stile went? Does anyone else's stove have a pointy post that supports the top and has an L-shaped bar that the post is screwed into?
Where does it go? When we put it where we think it goes, it makes the top too high.
Thank you!
~~~Joslyn
PS I can email a photo if it would help
Joslyn:
Can you post a photo here so that you can get all the knowing eyes looking at this? Otherwise, look up my profile and email me a photo, and I will try to help.
This is how it looked inside the stove,
UPDATE: 5 pm 9/05 - The gentleman that partially restored my stove looked at these photos and thinks the part does not belong in there at all (which would make sense why I can't find it in the manual), and that I should go ahead and reassemble the top minus that part. What think you?
I am no expert.... but that piece doesn't look to be of the same quality that I have come to know and love about my Chambers.... I vote to leave it out...
